You will need:
- 5 litre milk (any toned packaged milk)
- 250 gm roasted vermicelli/sewiyan
- 100 gm nuts/ dry fruits like almonds, raisins, cashewnuts and coconut
- Sugar/sugarfree as per your taste
Step by step instructions:
- Dice all nuts into smaller pieces
- Bring the milk to boil and add all the nuts/dry fruits
- Add the vermicelli after a little while and let it cook on simmer
- Finally add sugar or sugarfree, as per your taste.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes and the sewiyan is ready.
- It can be served hot as well as cold.
Please note: The quantity of this recipe is meant for 20-25 people. You can cut down the quantity proportionately based on your requirement.
