It was one of the first outlets to open up in the initially opened Gurgaon mall – DLF City Center. It launched as Ruby Tuesday’s but now they have re-branded themselves as Ruby’s Bar and Grill. The location is excellent as it is the first restaurant on your right when you enter the mall. In the past, I have been skeptical about trying out Ruby’s Bar and Grill as I have never seen this place crowded at any point in time. But finally, now that there is Fork It Up, we decided to visit this place for lunch. I truly liked the setting. The interiors are well done.
We went on a Sunday afternoon yet there were fewer people. The booth seats are a little uncomfortable and cramped. The service is great. They have a wider menu which offers Indian, American, Italian as well as Continental cuisines. They have diverse offers running on the drinks as well as food.
We ordered Fish n Chips, Creamy Pasta in White Sauce and Seasoned Fries. Food was yummy but the only disappointment – quantity was extremely small. Due to the quantity served, the restaurant obviously feels more expensive. It absolutely burns a hole in your pocket.
Verdict: It serves good food but is too expensive for the quantity offered
